What is Nibbleblog?
Nibbleblog is a lightweight, fast, and easy-to-use blogging platform. It doesn't rely on a traditional database like MySQL; instead, it stores content using XML files, making it ideal for users who want a simple blog without the complexity of a full CMS.
Softaculous helps you install web applications very easily. Please follow the steps below to install Nibbleblog:
Step 1. Log in to your cPanel account.
Step 2. In the Software section, click on Softaculous Apps Installer.![]()
Step 3. cPanel will redirect you to the Softaculous interface.
Step 4. On the left side, locate the Blogs category. Click on it and then select Nibbleblog.
Step 5. Click on Install.
Step 6. Under the Software Setup section:
- Choose Installation URL: Select your domain and protocol. To install in a subdirectory like example.com/blog, enter the directory name. Leave it blank to install in the root domain.

Step 7. Under Site Settings:
- Site Name: The name of your blog or site.
- Site Description: A short description of your website.
Step 8. Under Admin Account:
- Admin Username: Choose a unique and secure username.
- Admin Password: Use a strong password.
- Admin Email: Enter a valid email address.

Note: Save your admin username and password. You will need them to access your Nibbleblog dashboard.
Step 9. Advanced Options: Leave these unchanged unless you want to set up automatic backups or modify the database name. Frequent backups can use more disk space.
Finally, scroll down and click on Install to complete the setup.
